Invite your MP to Labour conference

Save the Rare Cancers Bill

Right now, GPs have no simple way of spotting pancreatic cancer in time for people to be saved.  But working with Imperial College London, we’re developing the world’s first breath test for pancreatic cancer.

Will you invite your MP to meet our researchers and try out the breath test at the Labour Party Conference?

Your MP will see for themselves how close we are to the breakthroughs we desperately need to transform early detection of pancreatic cancer – and will be more likely to stand with us to drive forward change.

What's the pancreatic cancer breath test?

Thanks to your support, we’ve been funding the development of the world’s first breath test for pancreatic cancer since 2023. It analyses the chemicals in a person's breath to detect potential indicators of pancreatic cancer.

This simple test could help GPs quickly and easily identify people with vague symptoms who are most likely to have pancreatic cancer so that they can be referred for further tests.

Early results are promising, but it is vital that we continue this momentum.
